Finding an in-network provider
Search the First Health network through the app.
When you need in-person care beyond virtual visits, finding an in-network provider helps keep your costs down. Benefi uses the First Health network, which includes providers across all 50 states. Here's how to search for doctors, specialists, and facilities near you.
Accessing the provider search
Open the Benefi app and look for the "In-Person Care" section. The provider search tool connects directly to First Health's network directory, showing you current availability and contact information for providers in your area.
You can search by:
- Provider name or specialty
- Location (ZIP code or city)
- Type of care needed
- Distance from your location
The search results show which providers are accepting new patients and their office locations. Each listing includes the provider's contact information so you can call directly to schedule.
What's covered with in-network providers
Your coverage depends on your plan tier and the type of visit:
Essential Plan members
- In-person preventive care: 100% covered at in-network providers
- Other medical visits: Not covered (use Virtual Primary Care instead)
Plus Plan members
- In-person preventive care: 100% covered at in-network providers
- 5 primary care visits per year (copay applies)
- 1 specialist visit per year (copay applies)
- 2 urgent care visits per year (copay applies)
Remember that Virtual Primary Care through the Benefi app is always $0 for both plans. Many common health concerns can be addressed through text, phone, or video with a Benefi doctor.
For preventive care like annual physicals, well-woman exams, and routine screenings, you'll pay nothing at in-network providers on either plan. Plus plan members have additional in-person visits for when virtual care isn't enough.
