Virtual urgent care, 24/7
Faster than a clinic. Always open. Always $0.
When you're feeling sick at 10 PM or your child spikes a fever on Sunday morning, waiting until Monday isn't an option. Benefi's Virtual Primary Care connects you with U.S.-based doctors 24/7/365 through text, phone, or video. No appointment needed, no copay required.
What counts as urgent care through Benefi
Virtual urgent care covers the same conditions you'd visit an urgent care clinic for, minus anything requiring hands-on examination or procedures. Our doctors treat:
- Cold, flu, and COVID symptoms
- UTIs and yeast infections
- Sinus infections and allergies
- Skin rashes and minor burns
- Pink eye and ear infections
- Stomach issues and food poisoning
Common prescriptions our doctors can send to your pharmacy
- Antibiotics for bacterial infections
- Antivirals for flu or COVID
- Topical creams for rashes or burns
- Eye or ear drops for infections
- Anti-nausea medications for stomach issues
Your doctor evaluates your symptoms, provides treatment guidance, and sends prescriptions directly to your preferred pharmacy when medically appropriate. If you're on the Essential plan, over 500 common generics are $0. Plus members get access to over 1,000 $0 generics.
When to use virtual vs. in-person care
Virtual care works best for conditions that can be diagnosed through symptoms and medical history. If your doctor determines you need physical examination, imaging, or lab work, they'll guide you to appropriate in-person care.
Emergency warning signs
Head to the ER or call 911 for:
- Chest pain or trouble breathing
- Signs of stroke (facial drooping, arm weakness, speech problems)
- Severe bleeding or head injuries
- Broken bones or severe burns
For Plus plan members, you get 2 urgent care visits per year with copays if you need hands-on care. Your virtual doctor can help determine whether an in-person visit is necessary and direct you to in-network facilities.
How to connect with a doctor
Open the Benefi app and tap "Start Visit." Choose text, phone, or video based on your preference and situation. Most members connect with a doctor within 10 minutes. The doctor reviews your symptoms, medical history, and current medications before providing diagnosis and treatment.
All Benefi doctors are licensed in your state and follow the same clinical standards as in-person providers. Your visit records stay in the app for easy reference, and you can message your care team with follow-up questions.
